Help! How to fix water leaking from shower-head after using hot water from other faucet?

We just remodeled our house and replaced all the shower-heads, faucets, and water heater a few months ago. The irritating leaking started after we installed a water pressure reducing valve above the water heater. The shower-head always starts leaking for a few minutes after using hot water from other faucets such as sink or shower in other bathroom. A funny thing is that the leaking would stop if I flush the toilet. Due to the water pressure we had a lot of water problems before. I thought remodeled could fix all the problems, but……………Anyone can please provide some advices to fix the problem? Thanks a lot!!

I’ve bought 3 color samples and can’t get it right! I have white wainscoting panels for the walls, and a black vanity and mirror. Should I go “celery green”, “harvest brown”, “teepee brown”, or “tropical pool blue”. I have a really small bathroom, 5X10 feet, so I don’t want to make the room seem too small, and am worried the paneling or a darker color will do that. However, the paneling will help with some pretty messed up drywall that would be even more difficult to completely cut out and patch. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Give me your vision — black and white bathroom?

We’re extremely fortunate to have found a FREE double sink/vanity for our bathroom project. It’s going to save us close to $1,000 — wow!

But here is the thing… the counter and sinks are black marble, and the cabinets will be painted white. We’re purchasing new faucets. We’re not exactly fans of a super contemporary look, and we’re afraid the black and white will push us into that direction. So we’ll will need to soften up the rest of the space.

This is a COMPLETE bathroom renovation, including brand new flooring, lighting, toilet, and stand up shower. So let your imagination go wild! Can you help me dream up something spectacular? Examples/pictures would also help if you happen to know of any online, thanks!

DIY bathroom renovation?

My hubby and I need a new bathroom. The estimate to have someone do it is incredible. We were hoping to tackle some of it ourselves. Is this possible for a newbie? I know I will have to have someone do a little electrical(new can lights) and move a toilet and install tub. But the demo, new framing, new sheetrock etc. Any help would be appreciated

We have a small bathroom downstairs. Our upstairs is nothing but an open palate with framing only on the outside walls. We would love to have a new bathroom roughed-in. Could someone who knows, give me a idea of the cost?

my water tastes funny after installing new taps?

hi ive just brought some new taps for my kitchen but since they have been in my water tastes funny,it dosnt taste funny when i drink water directly from the taps but i can only taste it when i boil the kettle and drink tea or coffee,now i have a sink in the downstairs toilet and tryed to see if it is the water but its tastes fine from the sink in the loo when i make tea/coffee so it is the taps has anyone got any suggestions as to how to solve this problem? maybe a plumber will know? the taps have been installed for 3 weeks now and ive contantly ran hot water through them to try and flush them but it dont seem to work
any ideas?
