I replace a shower hear with one just like the one I had. Now there is a small leak around where the shower head and the wall meet. I think its in the connection. I have tighten the shoiwer head as tight as it will go. Is there anything to put around the shower head to make it stop leakinig?
I used teflon tape and the new shower head would not screw in with the o-ring in place

you should have used some teflon tape

there should have been a rubber o-ring with the new head.it goes inside the head where it screws back onto the pipe coming out of the wall. without it it will leak.
The Panic Puzzle Review
is your shower head leaking from where the spout goes in the wall? or from where the spout meets the actual showerhead? Teflon tape is without doubt the right answer. Remove the shower head, then unscrew the spout also if leaking from there. Wrap 3-5 turs of Teflon counterclockwide (so it matches the way you turn it back in) and replace it back in there. Do the same for the shower head and you should be good to go. As for your comment about the shower head not going in, you probably did too many turns. Reduce the turns one or two at a time until you find one that lets the shower head screw in.
