Dual Sink Drain Issue – Any suggestions?

l2john@att.net

I have a dual sink drainage issue. I am in near completion of our bathroom renovation. It originally had a dual sink vanity. Each sink had it’s own p-trap leading to the same drain. The configuration is exactly the same. I am not sure how it was before, but now, when the sink to the left drains, water comes up the drain on the right side. Same goes when draining on the right side, the water comes up the sink on the left.
“Each sink had it’s own p-trap leading to the same drain.” is a typo meant to type:

Each sink HAS it’s own p-trap leading to the same drain.

Do I put the tub in first or do I do the tile first?

matteo_hughes

I’m doing a bathroom renovation. The tub is a soaker jacuzzi tub. So there’s wiring and plumbing that need to be done. But the way the tub sits it will be surrounded by tile. Similar to what you see in this photo: http://www.admiralvillage.com/images/web%20res/16%20Main-Soaker-Tub-2.jpg So my question is do I do the tile work first? Or do I install the tub first? See the soaker tub has a certain edge to it that would seem to make sense that it should sit on top of the tile. But if I do the tiling first then how does one complete the hookups and electrical? Maybe as I think about it it should be done in stages like Take the deck, the install tub, the after it’s hooked up and tested, then tile in the rest? Am I on the right track here. Again look at the photo. Mine is going to be almost identical to that. Thanks.

I have a question about DIY Network (the tv station)?

=]

Ok. I really like to watch DIY Network and I was wondering do the home owners pay for every thing? I mean I know like Kitchen Renovations and Bathroom Renovations the home owners pay but what about like Wasted Spaces and Carter Can, Indoors Out, Fresh Coat, Rock Solid, Yard Crashers, etc.? Do they pay for all the supplies or does the show?
